Hamilton, OH – Car Crash with Injuries Reported on I-75 near Cooper Ave (Exit 12)

Hamilton, OH (January 28, 2023) – Emergency officials were dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of a traffic accident on Friday evening in the Hamilton area.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol received the notification at approximately 6:30 p.m. on January 27 that a car crash took place on Interstate 75.

Upon arriving at the scene of the accident, crews located damaged vehicles blocking the southbound side of the road. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway in the area near Cooper Avenue at exit 12.

Stop-and-go traffic was reported in the area that extended back to Shepherd Lane is emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

At least one person suffered injuries in the accident and had to be transported to a local hospital.

The circumstances surrounding the traffic accident are being investigated.
