Hamilton, OH – Injuries Follow Crash on I-75 near Towne St

Hamilton, OH (February 26, 2023) – On February 24, the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an automobile accident in the Hamilton area that ended in injuries.

Calls for assistance were received by OSHP at approximately 5:05 p.m.

Crash reports indicate that a collision blocked the northbound side of Interstate 75 in the area near Towne Street. The incident prompted officials to secure multiple lanes of travel as they worked to provide assistance at the scene.

The Ohio Department of Transportation reported stop-and-go traffic that extended back to Mitchell Avenue as emergency crews tended to the crash site.

At least one person was injured and had to be transported to a local hospital.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated at this time.
