Hamilton, OH – Injury Accident Reported on I-75 between Mitchell Ave & I-74

Hamilton, OH (March 4, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident was reported in the Hamilton County area on Thursday evening that cause severe delays in traffic between Exit 4 and Exit 12 while leaving at least one person injured.

At approximately 6:00 p.m. on March 2, the Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene of a car accident that occurred on Interstate 75.

According to officials, a collision blocked the two right lanes of travel on the southbound side of the interstate. The incident prompted officials to close off multiple lanes in the area as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.

The Ohio Department of Transportation reported stop-and-go traffic that extended from Mitchell Avenue back to Cooper Avenue as emergency crews provided assistance at the scene.

Emergency medical services rendered aid to the victims who suffered injuries. At least one of the people involved in the crash was then transported to a local hospital for further medical care.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
