Protect Your Legal Rights After an I-75 Accident
Every year, thousands of accidents are reported on Interstate 75. In many cases, people are hurt as a result of these accidents that take place. One of the major contributing factors to the high number of the crashes that we see the place on Interstate 75 is the amount of heavy truck traffic that travels on this road every day. This heavy truck traffic can contribute to car accidents in a number of ways.
One of the ways that truck traffic can contribute to collisions is that the sheer size and weight of a truck can cause serious damage to a smaller car if they are involved in an accident. The weight of a truck also means that it takes longer for them to stop, so if a car cuts them off or slams on its brakes in front of them, the truck may not be able to stop in time and will plow into the back of the car, which can be serious or even fatal.
Another way that heavy truck traffic contributes to car accidents is by creating road hazards. When trucks are carrying heavy loads, they can drop debris onto the roadway, which can cause cars to swerve or hit something and lose control. Truck tires can also blow out and create a hazard for other drivers. Given the fact that most vehicles on Interstate 75 are traveling at a high speed, it can be nearly impossible to stop in time to avoid striking any fallen objects.
Heavy truck traffic can also lead to congestion on our highways, which can increase the chances of an accident happening. When there are more cars on the road competing for space, it increases the likelihood that someone will make a mistake and cause an accident. If you are involved in an accident on Interstate 75, it is important that you act quickly to protect your legal rights. No dice doing
