Harrison Township, OH – Crash on I-75 South Near Wagner Ford Rd and Needmore Road Leads to Injuries

Harrison Township, OH – September 28, 2023 – A string of accidents occurred on I-75 South in Harrison Township, leaving injuries. This chain of events involved a total of 14 vehicles across two separate incidents.

The initial collision occurred at around 6:53 a.m. near Wagner Ford Road, resulting in a tangled mess of nine vehicles and prompting a rapid response from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Thankfully, while there were non-life-threatening injuries, only two individuals needed hospitalization for further medical assessment and treatment, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP).

Simultaneously, just north of this initial crash site, another incident occurred near Needmore Road. This secondary collision involved five vehicles and is believed to be a direct consequence of the sudden slowdown that occurred further south on the highway. Two additional individuals were transported to the hospital, with their injuries also reported as non-life-threatening.

As of now, investigations into both crash scenes are still ongoing.
