Harrison Township, OH – Early on the morning of October 4th, a four-vehicle collision occurred on Southbound Interstate 75 in Montgomery County.

The incident, located near the intersection of Southbound Interstate 75 and Needmore Road, prompted a swift response from deputies and medical personnel at approximately 1:30 a.m., following initial reports of the crash, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The mishap occurred when the driver of one of the involved vehicles lost control, resulting in a collision with the concrete wall. Subsequently, three other vehicles, including a semi-truck, attempted evasive maneuvers to avoid the initial collision but inadvertently triggered a chain reaction crash involving all four vehicles, as confirmed by the sheriff’s office.

First responders from Harrison Township arrived promptly, assessing the situation. Fortunately, the injuries sustained during the incident were classified as non-life-threatening, affecting individuals in two of the vehicles involved.

Authorities worked diligently to reopen all lanes of Southbound I-75 at Needmore Road, successfully achieving this around 2:30 a.m. Nonetheless, the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
