Hazel Park, MI – Officer Jessica Nagle-Wilson Memorial Highway Crash near Woodward Heights Ends in Injuries

Hazel Park, MI (February 9, 2023) – Officers with the Michigan State Police were summoned to provide assistance at the scene of a crash that occurred on Wednesday evening in Hazel Park.

At around 4:15 p.m. on February 8, officers were notified that a motor vehicle accident took place on Interstate 75, Officer Jesse Nagle Wilson Memorial Highway.

According to law enforcement, a collision between vehicles occurred on the northbound side of the interstate. The accident caused delays on the right shoulder of the roadway near the entrance ramp from 9 Mile Road.

Law enforcement in the area blocked off the road while providing assistance at the scene.

Medical professionals treated the victims who had been hurt. Those who needed additional medical attention were taken by ambulance to nearby hospitals.

The state police are currently investigating the accident.
