Henry Co, GA – Crash With Injuries Disrupts I-75 SB at Hudson Bridge Rd
Henry Co, GA (April 22, 2025) – A crash with injuries occurred Tuesday afternoon, April 22, on southbound Interstate 75 at Hudson Bridge Road (mile marker 224.6), leading to the blockage of the left lane and causing traffic disruptions in the area. The incident was reported during the early afternoon hours, prompting a swift response from emergency crews.
According to initial reports from Henry County authorities, the crash involved two passenger vehicles traveling southbound when one attempted an improper lane change, resulting in a side-swipe collision that caused one of the vehicles to veer into the median. One of the drivers sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution.
Firefighters and EMS units were dispatched to the scene and assisted with the evaluation of those involved, as well as the safe removal of the vehicles from the travel lane. Georgia Department of Transportation crews helped manage traffic while the Georgia State Patrol investigated the cause of the incident. Officials estimated a clearance time of around 3:30 p.m.
