Henry Co, GA – Injury Crash Blocks I-75 N Before I-675
Henry Co, GA (April 8, 2025) – A two-car injury crash occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Henry County, causing traffic disruptions and sending at least one person to the hospital. The incident happened shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Interstate 75 northbound near the junction with I-675 (mile marker 227.7), prompting a swift response from emergency services.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), the collision blocked the right lane of the interstate, forcing authorities to divert traffic and advise drivers to use alternate routes while cleanup efforts were underway. First responders, including Henry County Fire and EMS, arrived on the scene to assist the injured and stabilize the area.
One individual sustained injuries and was transported via ambulance to a local hospital. The condition of the injured party has not been publicly disclosed. Firefighters played a key role in extricating the vehicles from the roadway, and the Georgia State Patrol conducted on-site traffic control and began an investigation into the cause of the crash.
