Henry Co, GA – One Injured in Two-Car Crash on I-75 N Near I-675 Exit

Henry Co, GA (May 9, 2025) – A two-car crash injury occurred early Friday morning, May 9, on I-75 N near the I-675 exit, leaving one person hospitalized and causing major traffic disruption in Henry County.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:15 a.m. near mile marker 227.7 in the Stockbridge area. According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, two vehicles collided in the left northbound lane of Interstate 75, resulting in moderate to severe damage to both vehicles. Emergency crews, including police, paramedics, and fire personnel, were dispatched to the scene shortly after the crash occurred.

One individual involved in the accident sustained injuries that required immediate medical attention. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before transporting them by ambulance to a nearby hospital. The full extent of the injuries has not been released, but authorities confirmed that the individual was conscious at the time of transport.

Firefighters assisted in clearing the damaged vehicles and ensured no occupants were trapped inside.
