Hillsborough Co, FL – One Hurt in I-75 Crash Near Fletcher Ave Exit

Hillsborough Co, FL (May 13, 2025) – A two-vehicle injury crash occurred early Tuesday morning on the off-ramp from Interstate 75 to Fletcher Ave in Hillsborough County, forcing authorities to close the ramp while emergency crews responded to the scene.

According to local traffic reports, the crash was reported at approximately 5:55 a.m. and involved two vehicles that collided while exiting the northbound lanes of I-75. The impact caused a temporary closure of the Fletcher Ave off-ramp as Hillsborough County deputies, fire rescue teams, and EMS arrived to assess the scene and assist those involved.

At least one individual sustained injuries and was treated on-site before being transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Firefighters assisted in managing the wreckage and worked to ensure the area was safe for responders.

Traffic on I-75 remained open, but vehicles attempting to use the Fletcher exit ramp were detoured as authorities worked to clear the scene and complete a preliminary investigation into the cause of the crash.
