Hillsborough, FL – Car Crash on I-75 near Moccasin-Wallow Rd Ends in Injuries

Hillsborough, FL (March 8, 2023) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following a car occurrence that took place in the Hillsboro area on Tuesday morning, March 7.

At approximately 8:55 a.m., the Florida Highway Patrol was notified that an automobile accident occurred on the southbound side of Interstate 75.

Preliminary reports show that a vehicle collision blocked the left shoulder of the road in the area of Moccasin-Wallow Road. Authorities arrived at the scene of the accident to provide assistance.

Delays in traffic extended back to College Avenue as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

Emergency medical services rendered aid to the injured victims before transporting them to area hospitals.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
