Hillsborough, FL – I-75 Accident near Gibsonton Dr Ends in Injuries

Hillsborough, FL (March 7, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident took place in the Hillsborough area on Monday morning, March 6, that ended in injuries.

At around 3:10 a.m., authorities were called to the site of a car crash that took place on the southbound side of Interstate 75.

Authorities arrived at the scene and located damaged vehicles in the area near mile marker 250 at Gibsonton Drive.

Florida Highway Patrol in local firefighters closed off multiple lanes in the area as they worked to clear the scene.

Paramedics responded to care for the victims who suffered injuries. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further care.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
