Hillsborough, FL – Injuries Follow Auto Accident on I-75 near Bruce B Downs Blvd

Hillsborough, FL (March 12, 2023) – On March 10, Florida Highway Patrol troopers were dispatched to provide assistance to firefighters at the scene of an automobile accident that took place on Friday evening in Hillsborough County.

At approximately 5:45 p.m., vehicles collided on the northbound side of Interstate 75. The incident prompted officials to close off multiple lanes in the area of Bruce B Downs Boulevard. The accident blocked two right lanes on the roadway, causing disruptions in the area.

Paramedics tended to the injured victims while on site before transporting them to area hospitals.

The Florida Highway Patrol initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. These investigations are currently underway.
