Hillsborough, FL – Injuries Follow I-75 Crash near MLK Jr Blvd

Hillsborough, FL (March 1, 2023) – At 5:15 a.m. on February 28, the Florida Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of an automobile accident that took place on Interstate 75 and ended in injuries.

Preliminary reports provided by authorities indicate that a crash between vehicles occurred on the northbound side of the roadway. Authorities responded to the scene and blocked off the shoulder and the travel lane near MLK Jr Boulevard.

Some delays resulted as a result of the accident. Emergency crews rushed to the scene to care for the injured victims and transfer those who required further assistance to local hospitals.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
