Hillsborough, FL – Injuries Reported in Vehicle Wreck on I-75 near Gibsonton Dr

Hillsborough, FL (February 11, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Friday evening, February 10, left at least one person with injuries.

Calls for help came in at around 5:15 p.m. to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Preliminary investigations determined that vehicles collided on the southbound side of Interstate 75 in the area near mile marker 250. The crash blocked two lanes of travel at Gibsonton Drive, causing delays in the area.

Emergency medical services responded to the scene to provide treatment to victims who were harmed. At least one person was then transported by ambulance to a local hospital.

The Florida Highway Patrol is currently in charge of the investigation into the accident.
