Hillsborough, FL – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 near SR-60

Hillsborough, FL (March 4, 2023) – Several vehicles were involved in a collision in Hillsborough County that sent at least one person to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

The accident was reported just after three p.m. on March 1.

The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the accident and located multiple vehicles damaged in blocking the northbound side of Interstate 75. Emergency crews close off the roadway in the area near Florida State route 60.

Highway Patrol and firefighters remained at the scene for an extended period as they worked to clear the road.

Emergency medical services rendered aid to the injured parties on site. An unknown number of people were transported to local hospitals for further care.

The incident remains under investigation.
