Kennesaw, GA – I-75 Accident near Barrett Parkway Ends in Injuries

Kennesaw, GA (February 26, 2023) – At least one person was injured as a result of an automobile accident that took place in Kennesaw on Saturday evening, February 25.

At approximately 4:15 p.m., the Georgia Highway Patrol was summoned to help at the scene of an accident on Interstate 75.

Reports show that a traffic collision blocked the left lane of travel on the southbound side of Interstate 75. The incident caused severe disruptions in the area near Exit 269 at Barrett Parkway.

Emergency crews remained at the scene extensively as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles and debris from the road.

Emergency medical services responded to care for the victims who suffered injuries. At least one of the involved parties was transported to a local hospital for further care.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
