Kennesaw, GA – Injury Accident on I-75 near Chastain Rd

Kennesaw, GA (February 11, 2023) – The Georgia Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place in the Kennesaw area on Friday, February 10, that ended in injuries.

At approximately 4:10 p.m., a collision blocked the right shoulder of southbound Interstate 75 near Chastain Road.

Authorities arrived at the scene and closed off the roadway near exit 271 as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles and debris from the scene.

At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated by the Georgia Highway Patrol.
