Kennesaw, GA – Injury Accident Reported on I-75 near Barrett Parkway

Kennesaw, GA (March 12, 2023) – The Georgia Highway Patrol, area firefighters, and emergency medical services were all dispatched to provide assistance in an automobile accident that took place on Friday evening in Kennesaw.

The police were notified at approximately 6:45 p.m. on March 10 about the accident.

According to officials, a collision between vehicles blocked the northbound side of Interstate 75. Georgia Highway Patrol troopers and firefighters arrived at the scene of the accident and closed off multiple lanes near Barrett Parkway.

Emergency crews went to work quickly on securing the area.

Paramedics rendered aid to the injured victims while on-site. At least one person was transported to the hospital for further medical care.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
