Kenton Co, KY – Injuries Reported After Crash on I-75 N Near Buttermilk Pike
Kenton Co, KY (April 25, 2025) – A two-car crash injury occurred on Friday morning, April 25, on Interstate 75 north near Buttermilk Pike in Fort Mitchell, causing traffic delays and significant disruption to morning commuters. The collision was first reported at approximately 7:38 a.m. as emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene.
According to initial reports, two vehicles collided in the northbound lanes under circumstances that are currently under investigation by local authorities. Fort Mitchell Police Department and Kenton County Fire Rescue responded quickly to the crash site. Firefighters performed extrication procedures to free at least one individual trapped inside a vehicle due to the severity of the damage. Emergency medical services treated multiple injured parties at the scene, transporting at least one person to a nearby hospital with injuries described as moderate but non-life-threatening. Other victims with minor injuries were treated and released at the location.
Traffic in the area was heavily impacted as the right lanes were temporarily closed to allow emergency workers to manage the situation safely. Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes or exercise caution while traveling through the affected stretch of I-75. Cleanup and investigation activities extended through much of the morning before the scene was fully cleared.
