Kenton, KY – Crash on I-75 near US-25 Ends in Injuries

Kenton, KY (March 18, 2023) – At 210 p.m. on March 17, authorities were notified that an automobile accident needed assistance.

The Kentucky State Police responded to the scene of the accident and located damaged vehicles blocking three lanes of travel on the northbound side of Interstate 75. The crash prompted the state police and local firefighters to shut down a portion of the northbound side of the roadway near Dixie Highway. Authorities reported that the crash caused stop-and-go traffic that extended back from Exit 188 to Exit 184.

Emergency officials worked quickly to remove the damaged vehicles and debris from the road as medics provided care for the injured victims. An unknown number of people were transported to area hospitals for further medical care.

The state police are currently investigating the accident.
