Lee County, FL – Accident with Injuries Reported on I-75 near Exit 136 at Colonial Blvd

Lee County, FL (February 17, 2023) – The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place on Wednesday afternoon and left at least one person injured.

On February 15, troopers with FHP were dispatched to a crash on Interstate 75.

At approximately 3:10 p.m., a collision blocked multiple lanes on the northbound side of the interstate. Authorities responded to the scene and secured the crash site near Exit 136 at Colonial Boulevard.

Emergency crews responded quickly to provide medical treatment to the victims who were injured. At least one person was transported from the scene to an area hospital for further care.

The incident remains under investigation.
