Lee County, FL – Injury Crash Reported on I-75 near Corkscrew Rd

Lee County, FL (June 18, 2023) – At 6:40 a.m. on June 16, emergency officials were called to the scene of the crash that took place in Lee County and ended in injuries.

According to reports provided by the Florida Highway Patrol, a crash between vehicles took place on Interstate 75. The accident occurred near Corkscrew Road, causing delays that extended back to Alico Road along the southbound side of the interstate.

Medics were called to the scene to provide care to victims who suffered injuries. Those who required further assistance were transported to local hospitals.

At this time, Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating the incident.
