Lee County, FL – Multi-Vehicle Accident Reported on I-75 near MM 133

Lee County, FL (February 15, 2023) – Emergency crews throughout Lee County were called to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident that took place on Monday evening.

At around 5:40 p.m. on February 13, the Florida Highway Patrol was dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of a vehicle collision on Interstate 75.

Reports show that several vehicles collided on the north side of the interstate. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway near mile marker 133.

The accident blocked the left lane of travel, causing delays throughout the area.

Paramedics were dispatched to provide assistance to the victims who suffered injuries.

At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further medical care.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
