Lexington, KY – Injury Crash on I-75 N After Driver Strikes Barrier
Lexington, KY (January 10, 2026) – One person was injured Friday morning following a crash on northbound Interstate 75 in Lexington.
Lexington police responded around 6:00 a.m. on January 9 after receiving reports of a vehicle crash on the northbound lanes. Officers said a driver swerved to avoid a motor home travelling ahead.
During the maneuver, the vehicle struck a concrete barrier along the roadway. Emergency crews arrived and provided care to the driver at the scene. Police confirmed the driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment.
Authorities did not report injuries to any other drivers. The motor home involved was not struck, and no additional vehicles were damaged during the incident.
Police stated the roadway reopened shortly after crews cleared the scene. Officials do not expect any charges to be filed in connection with the crash.
