Unfortunately, this road is so dangerous that it has earned the title of being one of the top five most deadly roads in our country. There are several factors that make Interstate 75 particularly dangerous inclement weather happens to be one condition that contributes to a significant number of collisions on this road.

When a truck loses control on an icy road, it can jackknife or rollover. These types of accidents are often fatal for the truck driver and any passengers that may be in the vehicle.

Icy road conditions are especially dangerous for trucks because of their size and weight. A fully loaded semi-truck can weigh up to 80,000 pounds.
