Lexington, KY – Pedestrian Injured in Truck Crash on I-75 near Winchester Rd

Lexington, KY (June 15, 2023) – A pedestrian was left with injuries as a result of a car crash that took place in the Lexington area.

The accident was reported at around 9:40 a.m. on June 13.

Reports from authorities show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 75. The accident occurred in the area near the exit for Winchester Road. Investigations determined that the pedestrian was struck by a semi and at least one additional vehicle.

The pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries due to the accident. They were treated on-site and rushed to an area hospital for emergency care.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
