Lexington, KY – Semi-Involved Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 Results in Injuries

Lexington, KY (December 12, 2024) – A multi-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck occurred on northbound I-75 in Lexington just before 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 12. The crash involved five vehicles, including two that stopped to avoid the initial accident. Lexington Police and emergency services responded promptly, providing on-site care to victims. One individual sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for further treatment. The crash initially began with a collision involving three vehicles, causing other motorists to stop abruptly. This sequence led to the involvement of two additional vehicles, including the semi-truck. Traffic in the area was heavily impacted as authorities worked to clear the wreckage and investigate the cause of the incident.
