Lincoln Park, MI – I-75 Accident with Injuries Reported near Outer Dr

Lincoln Park, MI (March 18, 2023) – At around 3:35 p.m. on March 17, emergency services were called to the scene of an automobile accident that took place in the Lincoln Park area and ended in injuries.

According to officials, a collision blocked the southbound side of Interstate 75 during the late afternoon hours. The crash prompted officials to shut down the roadway near Outer Drive at Exit 42. Delays in traffic were reported by the Michigan Department of Transportation that extended back to Exit 44.

Emergency crews shut down a portion of the roadway as they worked to clear the scene.

Medics provided treatment to the victims who suffered injuries while on the site. An unknown number of people were then transported to area hospitals for further treatment.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
