Locust Grove, GA – Accident with Injuries Reported on I-75 near Bill Gardner Parkway

Locust Grove, GA (March 8, 2023) – On March 7, authorities were notified that a motor vehicle accident took place in the Locust Grove area and ended in injuries.

At approximately 4:55 p.m., vehicles collided on the southbound side of Interstate 75. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway near Bill Gardner Parkway.

Police and firefighters remained at the scene extensively as they worked to clear the road and remove the damaged vehicles and debris.

At least one person was injured and had to be transported by ambulance to a local hospital for further medical care.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
