Loudon County, KY – LCSO Responds to Injury Crash on I-75 near Sugarlimb Rd (Exit 76)

Loudon County, KY (February 14, 2023) – The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of a multi-vehicle accident that took place on Monday morning.

At approximately 5:30 a.m. on February 13, the Sheriff’s office was notified about a vehicle collision on Interstate 75.

Preliminary investigations show that several vehicles collided on the southbound lanes of the interstate. The incident blocked off the roadway near Exit 76 for Sugarlimb Road.

The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway while providing assistance. Traffic delays extended several miles from the scene.

At least one person was injured and had to be transported to a local hospital for emergency medical care.

The Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the crash.
