Loudon County, TN – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-75 S at MM 71 Results in Injuries 

Loudon County, TN (November 15, 2024) – A serious multi-vehicle crash took place on Friday afternoon, November 15, on I-75 South near mile marker 71 in Loudon County. According to the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office, the collision caused multiple injuries, with at least one person ejected from a vehicle. Emergency crews from Priority Ambulance Service, Loudon County Fire/Rescue, Loudon Fire Department, Loudon County Emergency Management, Loudon Police Department, and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency responded quickly to assist. Due to the severity of the crash, the Tennessee Department of Transportation temporarily shut down the highway to allow a medical helicopter to land. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident. At this time, details about the number of vehicles involved and the identities of those injured have not been made public.
