Macon, GA – 18-Wheeler and Multi-Car Pile-Up on I-75 on Bass Rd Causes Injuries

Macon, GA (July 23, 2024) – An 18-wheeler crash involving multiple vehicles on the I-75 on Bass Road caused non-life-threatening injuries around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23. According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the crash involved between five and six cars, with no serious injuries reported at this time. The Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene to investigate the cause of the crash and assist in clearing the debris and damaged vehicles. Motorists experienced considerable delays as authorities worked to reopen the affected lanes. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
