Macon, GA – Five-Vehicle Crash on I-16/I-75 Split Leaves Two Injured

Macon, GA (February 17, 2023) – Two people were transported to area hospitals following a motor vehicle accident that took place on Thursday morning in Bibb County.

On February 16, the Georgia Highway Patrol and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office responded to provide assistance at the scene of a collision on Interstate 75.

Reports show that five vehicles collided on Interstate 75 at the split with Interstate 16. The impact of the crash caused one vehicle to flip over near Exit 164.

Two people involved in the crash were transported to area hospitals for the treatment of injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
