Macon, GA – Injury Accident Reported on I-75 near Bass Rd

Macon, GA (February 12, 2023) – On February 11, the Georgia Highway Patrol received a notification that a crash took place in Bibb County that required assistance.

At approximately 5 p.m., an automobile accident occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 75. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway near mile marker 172 at Bass Road.

The incident caused disruptions in the area as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

Paramedics were dispatched to provide treatment to those who were injured as a result of this motor vehicle collision. At least one party to the accident was transported by ambulance to a local medical facility for further treatment of their injuries.

The Georgia Highway Patrol has an active investigation into the accident at this time.
