Macon, GA – Mark Bruno & DeAndre McGhee Killed in Crash at I-75 & I-475

Macon, GA (January 9, 2023) – Two people have died as a result of a traffic accident that had taken place in Bibb County. At around 10:29 a.m., on January 8, the Bibb County Sheriff’s office was dispatched to a traffic crash that occurred on Interstate 75.

According to the Sheriff’s office, a Toyota land cruiser was traveling north on Interstate 75. As the vehicle began to merge onto Interstate 475, he became involved in a collision. As a result of the crash, the vehicle rolled over multiple times before coming to a stop.

A 57-year-old man involved in the accident, identified as Mark Bruno, was severely harmed. Bruno was rushed to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

A second victim, 24-year-old DeAndre McGhee, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other people were hospitalized with injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the Bibb County Sheriff’s office.
