Macon, GA – Tyler Scott Northcutt Loses Life in Crash on I-75 near Tom Hill Senior Blvd

Macon, GA (June 17, 2023) – The Georgia Highway Patrol confirmed that 22-year-old Tyler Scott Northcutt lost his life in a crash that occurred early Friday evening, June 16.

At around 4:00 p.m. on Friday, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of an automobile accident that occurred on Interstate 75.

Reports from authorities indicate that Northcutt was driving south along Interstate 75 when a truck crashed into the rear of his vehicle near Tom Hill Senior Boulevard.

Northcutt suffered fatal injuries due to the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the responding deputy coroner.

The driver of the truck, identified as 40-year-old Rene Rolando Guox-cos, was taken into police custody following the accident.

Guox-cos is currently facing charges of driving on a suspended license, following too close, and vehicular homicide.
