Manatee County, FL – Morning Accident Cause Injuries on I- 75 in the Bradenton-Sarasota Area

Manatee County, FL (August 9, 2023) – A morning accident on August 9th brought significant traffic disruptions on I-75 in the Bradenton-Sarasota area.

The incident involved a white SUV on the southbound lanes of I-75, where the vehicle hit an individual and collided with the left-lane guardrail. This crash, classified as a hit-and-run with injuries, resulted in a substantial traffic backup stretching from University Road to Ellenton.

Emergency responders from local law enforcement and first responders swiftly attended to the scenes of these accidents. The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that the individual was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
