Marietta, GA – Injury Accident Reported on I-75 near Canton Rd Connector

Marietta, GA (December 25, 2022) – The Georgia Highway Patrol was summoned to the scene of a traffic accident that took place on Friday evening in Marietta. At around 6:55 p.m. on December 23, authorities were notified that a traffic accident took place on Interstate 75.

According to law enforcement, a traffic accident took place on the southbound side of Interstate 75 that blocked the three lanes of travel. Authorities responded to the scene of the accident and blocked off the road near exit 267 at the Canton Road connector.

Authorities went to work on clearing the roadway to allow traffic throughout the area. EMS provided care to injured victims and transported them to area hospitals.
