Marietta, GA – Two Hurt in Wreck w/ Tractor-Trailer on I-75 at Delk Rd

Marietta, GA (February 27, 2025) – A serious crash involving a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck towing a utility trailer left two people injured on Thursday morning, February 27, along Interstate 75 near Delk Road. According to reports, the collision occurred in the southbound lanes of the interstate, prompting a swift response from the Georgia State Patrol and local emergency personnel.

Due to the severity of the crash, all southbound lanes were temporarily shut down as authorities worked to assist the injured and clear the wreckage. Both injured individuals received immediate medical attention at the scene, with one requiring transport to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The extent of their injuries remains undisclosed.  Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the collision.
