Marietta, GA – Two Semi-Truck Injury Crash on I-75 NB at Delk Rd

The accident happened shortly after 6:00 a.m. in the right lanes of I-75 NB. According to the Marietta Police Department, the collision involved two tractor-trailers, one of which jackknifed and partially blocked the exit ramp. Emergency responders from Marietta Fire and Cobb County EMS arrived promptly at the scene. Firefighters used hydraulic tools to extract a trapped driver from one of the cabs, while paramedics rendered aid to both truck drivers.

One driver sustained moderate injuries, including a leg fracture and facial lacerations, and was transported by ambulance to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. The other driver suffered minor bruises and declined further treatment. Authorities managed traffic control and coordinated with tow operators to remove the damaged vehicles and clear debris.

Roadwork on the shoulder of the exit ramp contributed to the congestion and slowed emergency access. The investigation remains ongoing, and no citations have been issued. Names of those involved have not yet been released.

Our thoughts are with the injured individuals, and we wish them a full and swift recovery.
