Marion County, FL – Injury Accident Reported on I-75 near Exit 368 (County Rd 318)

Marion County, FL (December 29, 2022) – A traffic accident took place in Marion County on Wednesday afternoon that ended in injuries. Just before 1 p.m., on December 28, calls for help came in regarding a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 75.

Preliminary crash reports provided by Florida Highway Patrol show that a traffic accident blocked the southbound side of the roadway near the ramp to exit 368. Authorities responded to the scene of the accident and closed off all lanes of travel near County Road 318.

Authorities remained at the scene of the accident for an extended period.

Medics are called to the scene to render aid to victims and transport them to area hospitals.

At this time, the Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
