McDonough, GA – Injuries Follow auto Wreck on I-75 near N McDonough Road

McDonough, GA (February 4, 2023) – A vehicle collision took place in Henry County early Friday evening that left at least one person with injuries.

On February 3, troopers with the Georgia Highway Patrol were dispatched to provide assistance on-site at a traffic crash that took place on Interstate 75.

At approximately 5:15 p.m., a collision between vehicles blocked the left lane of travel on the northbound side of the interstate. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway just before exit 216 at North McDonough Road, Georgia State Highway 155.

GHP troopers and area firefighters remained at the scene for an extended time as they worked to clear the road.

At least one person suffered injuries and had to be transported to a local hospital for medical care.

The circumstances surrounding the traffic accident are currently being investigated.
