McMinn Co, TN – Multiple Injuries Reported After Four-Truck Crash on I-75

McMinn County, TN (April 17, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash involving four tractor-trailers occurred on Thursday morning on I-75 in McMinn County, Tennessee, resulting in major traffic disruption and multiple reported injuries. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the crash blocked a significant portion of the interstate, prompting a large-scale emergency response.

The incident took place during morning hours under still-unconfirmed circumstances. Authorities say the collision involved a chain reaction between four semi-trucks, causing at least one of the vehicles to jackknife and spill debris across the highway. Emergency crews from McMinn County Fire and Rescue, EMS, and the Tennessee Department of Transportation responded quickly to the scene.

Several individuals were injured in the crash. Paramedics provided care at the site and transported at least two people to a nearby medical facility. While the full extent of the injuries has not yet been disclosed, initial reports indicate that at least one of the victims suffered moderate trauma.
