Miami Co, OH – One Dead, Two Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75
Miami County, OH (May 4, 2025) – A tragic three-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 South in Miami County claimed one life and left two others injured early Sunday morning, May 4. The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the scene just after midnight beyond SR 571. Investigators say 26-year-old Andrew Romero of Moraine was driving a Ford southbound when he slowed due to an earlier crash in the area. Following closely behind was a 2009 Saturn driven by 28-year-old Jennifer Korleski of Tipp City. Korleski rear-ended Romero’s vehicle, causing it to overturn and veer off the right side of the highway, eventually coming to rest on its side. Korleski’s car became disabled in the left lane. Moments later, a 2021 Jeep struck her vehicle.
Korleski was pronounced dead at the scene. Romero and the Jeep driver both sustained injuries and were transported to local hospitals for further treatment. Multiple agencies, including the Tipp City Fire and Emergency Services and the Miami County Sheriff’s Office, assisted at the scene. The incident caused significant traffic delays and remains under active investigation by OSHP.
Our deepest condolences go out to the loved ones of Jennifer Korleski. We also wish a full and swift recovery to those injured.
