Miami County, OH – Two Injured in Five-Vehicle Crash on I-75 SB

Miami County, OH (October 18, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 75 southbound caused major traffic delays Thursday morning and sent at least two people to the hospital, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP).

The crash was reported during the morning rush hour and involved five vehicles. Emergency crews responded quickly, providing aid to the injured and transporting two individuals to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not yet been disclosed.

Traffic in the southbound lanes was significantly backed up as law enforcement and rescue teams cleared the scene and removed damaged vehicles from the roadway. All lanes were later reopened once the area was deemed safe for travel.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the crash, including whether congestion, speed, or driver inattention were contributing factors.
