Miami-Dade Co., FL – Injury Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75/Exit 39

Miami-Dade County, FL (January 5, 2026) – A multi-vehicle collision resulted in reported injuries on Sunday, January 4, just beyond Exit 39 on Interstate 75, according to information from the Florida Highway Patrol.  Troopers were dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of several vehicles involved in a chain-reaction collision that left at least one lane partially blocked.

Several people involved in the crash were evaluated at the scene by medical personnel for possible injuries. One person reportedly sustained injuries that required transportation to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation and treatment. Other occupants were assessed on-site and declined hospital transport.

Florida Highway Patrol officers documented the scene, collected statements, and coordinated vehicle removals to restore traffic flow. Portions of Florida’s Turnpike experienced delays while crews worked to clear debris and investigate contributing factors. The investigation into the circumstances leading up to the crash remains ongoing.
