Miami, FL – Fatal Crash on I-75 Near Weston Leaves One Dead, Several Injured

Miami, FL (May 3, 2025) – A tragic accident on the morning of May 3rd claimed one life following a multi-vehicle collision on I-75 northbound near Weston. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash took place around 8:45 a.m. near the Weston area and involved at least two passenger vehicles and a commercial truck. First responders arrived quickly and found significant damage to the vehicles, with one car severely mangled from the impact. One person was pronounced dead at the scene. There was no word on whether injuries were sustained in the crash. Traffic was brought to a complete halt for several hours as officials conducted an investigation and cleared the wreckage. The northbound lanes were fully reopened by mid-afternoon. The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident to determine what may have caused the deadly collision.
