Miami, FL (November 7, 2024) – A tragic two-vehicle collision on Interstate 75 near the Pines Boulevard overpass led to one fatality and traffic delays on Thursday afternoon, November 7. The crash blocked two lanes of the highway, causing a long traffic jam that stretched for miles, as seen in aerial footage from Chopper 4—the video showed the extensive vehicle damage, highlighting the crash’s severity. Pembroke Pines Police confirmed the fatality but have not released the identity of the deceased. Drivers were advised to take alternate routes to avoid the congestion. Officials are investigating to determine the cause, though no conclusions have been made yet.
